The way of sales are route sales, Out-of-hospital SPD system, which efficiently manages material in logistic centers of the Group which are located out of hospitals, In-hospital SPD system, which the Group procures and manages on behalf of hospitals as subcontracting, and specialized sales in the field of orthopedics and circulatory organ.

The Group provides not only the proposal of most adequate medical equipment including large scale of image diagnostic equipment such as MRI and CT, but also one-stop service to meet the various requests of clients.

SPD business
What’s SPD?
SPD stands for Supply Processing and Distribution. It was advocated as the plan for efficiency of hospital logistics “plan for management and supply of hospital logistics including procured goods and sterile regeneration, and unification”.
In Japan, there are various interpretations including “the task of comprehensive management of goods and logistics” or “outsourcing task including procurement and buying/selling medical materials”.
Demands of medical sites are sophisticated, sharpened and diversified. The Group contributes in the field of management of medical logistics through providing the innovative system and service which had not realized in the past, by merging the newest ICT (Information and Communication Technology) and address various problems and issues.
The Group supports for managing hospitals by efforts for efficiency of medical sites and improvement of safety which are contradictory tasks, and for supporting mitigation of burdens of managing goods.
The Group conducts wider range of managing business and deeper support and analysis through uniform management by SPD.

In the Group, the collaboration of trading business, specialty business and SPD business has strengthened the business foundation and widened the supply network all over Japan. The number of installation of SPD expanded to 262 facilities and approximately 97,000 beds in Japan (as of September 30th, 2024)
The Group continues to merge and integrate human resource, information network, customer base and IT system/ merchandise master in the Group and to demonstrate the effects of synergy by improving earning power and expanding new projects
